Ravens Work Out Speedy Former First-Round Pick

While the Baltimore Ravens offence has been good, and at times absolutely explosive, they still lack a lot of firepower on the outside, and if they didn't have Lamar Jackson playing Quarterback, a lot of their results would be very, very different. They somewhat attempted to fix the problem when they signed legendary wide receiver DeSean Jackson, and while his speed will certainly help this team, they need to do more.

With Rashod Bateman still injured, this team can't afford to be understrength on the outside for any game remaining in the 2022/23 NFL season, and while former first-round pick Tavon Austin might not be the best solution, he's certainly an option. Along with Jackson, the Ravens worked out Austin, and while it's less likely he gets a deal, he could help this team, and anything that takes significant attention off Lamar Jackson is a huge positive.

Austin may have never reached the heights some expected coming out of West Virginia, but he was certainly an offensive weapon with speed to burn, and if the Ravens paired Bateman and Devin Duvernay with Jackson and Austin, this could be one of the fastest teams in the NFL, but only time will tell.
