Saints QB and Star Receiver Miss Second Straight Practice

New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston and two-time All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas missed another practice on Thursday, the club announced on their injury report.

This is the second time in a row this week both offensive players did not participate as Winston is currently nursing a back/ankle injury, while Thomas continues to rehab a toe injury.

It is still unclear whether or not either player with play in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks this Sunday. Winston has been battling both injuries since Week 4 and did not play in his last campaign at London when his club lost 28-25 against the Minnesota Vikings. Backup quarterback Andy Dalton played in his stead and may have to again on Sunday.

Thomas initially suffered a toe injury in Week 3 and did not participate in London last Sunday either. He also missed the entire 2021-22 season due to an ankle injury. Their is no current update if he will play this week.
