Star Chargers Receiver Will Be Game Time Decision In Week 7

The Los Angeles Chargers, while a good team so far in 2022, certainly haven't been the dominant offensive squad that many expected when the season began, and while part of that is the defensive teams they've come up against and the injury to Quarterback Justin Herbert early in the season, they've also been effected by the injury to Pro Bowl receiver Keenan Allen.

Allen has played in just one game this season, a victory over the Las Vegas Raiders where he logged 4 catches for 66 yards, and if the Chargers are to genuinely challenge the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, they'll need all of their offensive weapons available. It's been a hamstring injury holding him back, which makes sense as to why the Chargers are being extra cautious with him, but this week, it has become clear that he is nearing a comeback.

That may or may not happen in Week 7 as the Chargers take on the Seattle Seahawks at home, as Head Coach Brandon Staley has considered him a game-time decision, and if the team can get him back at full strength, it's going to be a massive boost for a team that is ready to take the next step and challenge the elite teams in the AFC.
