Steelers' Fitzpatrick Misses Second Straight Practice

The chances that Pittsburgh Steelers star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick plays on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be doubtful.

The Steelers released their injury report on Thursday showing that Fitzpatrick missed his second straight practice after missing action on Wednesday as well.

Fitzpatrick has been battling a knee injury that head coach Mike Tomlin said needs to be carefully managed if the safety has any chance of playing on Sunday, according to ProFootballTalk

The Pittsburgh club would need Fitzpatrick on the defensive end to help them erase their four-game losing streak, especially against Tampa's high-powered offense led by Tom Brady.

Fitzpatrick has been productive in his 2022-23 campaign thus far with three defensive interceptions, 33 combined tackles, and one touchdown.
