Steelers Star 'Trending In The Direction' Of Playing In Week 8

Pittsburgh Steelers superstar T.J. Watt has been out since Week 1 when he injured his pec muscle, and now, after more than 6 weeks out of action, he returned to practice earlier in the week, giving many the optimism that he could return to the field in Week 8 as the Steelers look to dig themselves out of the massive 2-5 hole they've made for themselves.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year has been a massive loss for Pittsburgh, who haven't been able to build momentum on either side of the ball since Week 1, and approaching a must-win game against the undefeated Eagles, they desperately need him. In an interview with media today, Watt didn't declare himself ready to go for the crucial Sunday clash, but he did say he was 'trending in the direction of playing', which would be a massive inclusion for a desperate Steelers squad.

If they were to fall to 2-6 while the Ravens and Bengals continue to grow, develop and win games as the season rolls on, you could potentially count the Steelers as sellers at the deadline, but right now, all focus is on the matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, and if Watt can return for the clash, it would be a major bonus for this team.
