Texans Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Brandin Cooks

The Houston Texans have let it be known that they are listening to offers for veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks. The 29-year-old currently has one touchdown, 32 receptions, and 354 receiving yards this campaign in seven games. However, when noting that he had six touchdowns in each of the last two seasons, it is clear that he can make a big impact when at his best. Thus, a big market should form for his services, and here are three landing spots for him.

Los Angeles Rams: Last season, the Rams made a huge addition when they added Odell Beckham Jr. to the roster. Could we see them do the same thing with Cooks this season? Absolutely. The Rams need help at WR, and there are not too many better trade options available than him. They also are in on the sweepstakes because of it.

Green Bay Packers: Any WR on the block will be linked to the Packers, and Cooks is naturally one of them. Aaron Rodgers needs more weapons to throw to, as their current group is not working out. To overcome a bad 3-5 record will take a lot for Green Bay, but perhaps adding Cooks could be a way to change the outlook of their season.

Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings are in on Cooks as they aim to maintain their fantastic start to the year. Cooks would give them a much-needed upgrade at WR, so it makes sense that they are interested in him. Don't be surprised to see them make a bigger push for him as we get closer to the final hour of the deadline.
