Titans Snag Veteran Receiver Off Chiefs Practice Squad

The Tennessee Titans, after a very slow start to the 2022 season have now gotten rolling, with a 4-3 record that gives them sole possession of first place in the AFC South after a victory over the division rival Indianapolis Colts, but if they are to take the next step and make a post-season run, they'll desperately need to figure out the wide receiver position.

Their prized first-round rookie Treylon Burks has been placed on Injured Reserve and veteran Josh Gordon didn't work out, and with Robert Woods as their No. 1 receiver, there's absolutely no doubt they need some help. There's some receivers out there possibly available for trade, but today, the Titans looked for a cheaper veteran option to try help this group by signing Chris Conley from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad.

Conley has produced 2,800 receiving yards over his seven year career, to go along with 15 Touchdown's for the Chiefs, Jaguars and Texans, and if the Titans want any chance of competing in the playoffs, they'll need him to be a contributor in a big way.
