Two Green Bay Packers Ruled Out In Week 8

The Green Bay Packers season has gone from bad to worse, with three straight losses to Daniel Jones, Zach Wilson and Taylor Heinicke, and on top of that, their wide receiver group has been badly hit with the injury bug, and unfortunately for Green Bay, the issue hasn't gotten any better just days ahead of their Week 8 clash with the AFC leading Buffalo Bills.

Allen Lazard was likely going to be ruled out with a shoulder injury, and despite some optimism in recent days, he has officially been ruled out, and with Randall Cobb gone too, it leaves Sammy Watkins and Romeo Doubs as the teams top two receivers, as Christian Watson remains questionable for the game. On top of that, Shemar Jean-Charles has also been ruled out, and while he's not a huge name, he has become a solid piece for this Packers secondary, and will be missed in a game with this magnitude.

Right now, the Green Bay season isn't on the line, but if they fall to the Bills like many expect, they'll be sitting at 3-5 on the season, and with a Vikings team that heads into the weekend at 5-1 and first place in the NFC North, it's going to almost be time to panic.
