Two Steelers Stars Fully Return To Practice On Friday, Ready To Go In Week 5

The Pittsburgh Steelers are still reeling after a shock loss to the New York Jets in Week 4, leaving their record at 1-3 in the early goings of the season, and if they want to turn it around, they'll need to be on upset alert in Week 5 as they travel to Buffalo to take on the AFC heavyweight Bills. To do that, they'll need improvements across the board, as rookie Kenny Pickett will be making his first career start, and today, Pittsburgh got some great news on the injury front that will help the defence tasked with slowing down the incredible Josh Allen.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and defensive tackle Casey Hayward were both declared full participants in Friday's practice, and with such a key showdown looming, it appears that both men will be fully fit and ready to go in Week 5, unless something drastically changes.

Pittsburgh will still be major underdogs to the 3-1 Bills, who possess one of the deepest teams in the entire NFL, but as we saw a week ago, anyone in the NFL can beat anyone on a given Sunday, and that's what Pittsburgh will be aiming for. If they fall, the team will be 1-4 with a rookie QB and not a whole lot of direction, but having two key defenders and a team captain back will certainly help, now they just need to be on their A game if they are to get their 2022 season back on the right track.
