Update On Rams Attempt To Trade Running Back

Last week, it was reported that he had likely played his last snap for the Los Angeles Rams.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said the team is still discussing a potential trade of running back Cam Akers.
Akers was told to stay home from practice last week as the Rams continue to discuss trading him. The team has apparently spoken to multiple teams about a trade, but there's a chance the team does not move him before the November 1 trade deadline.

Akers last played in a game for the Rams in Week 5 and has rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on 51 attempts.

Since returning from a torn Achilles last season, Akers has really struggled to return to form and is averaging a poor three yards per carry this season.

It's hard to imagine the Rams acquiring anything more than a few late-round draft picks for Akers.
