Veteran Nose Tackle Signs With Cleveland Browns

While the NFL certainly becomes a much easier league to win in with superstar talent, it's the depth pieces and the role players that often define championship teams, and if that's the case, the Cleveland Browns have just made a great depth signing, which makes their already scary defensive line that much more intimidating.

While it's not a big name signing, the Browns are signing veteran nose tackle Tyeler Davison, who has been in the league since 2015 with the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons, and given the star talent on the line with Myles Garrett and Jadaveon Clowney, this is a soldi addition that will give both of those men even more time to work up front.

The Browns got off to a hot start in 2022, but have lost two of their last three, and if they want to hang in the AFC North division until Deshaun Watson returns, this defensive is going to need to be as dominant as possible. Davison has recorded 5 sacks, 215 tackles, 4 pass deflections and 3 forced fumbles throughout his career, and while he won't change a franchise, he's a great addition to this amazing defensive line.
