Bears Sign Quarterback

Snatching him from the Detroit Lions.

The Chicago Bears have signed quarterback Tim Boyle to their active roster from the Lions' practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

With both Justin Fields and Trevor Siemian questionable for Week 13's game, the Bears are adding Boyle just in case either quarterback can't go this week.

Over his three-year career, the twenty-eight-year-old has 541 passing yards and three touchdowns over 15 games. He spent two seasons with the Green Bay Packers and one with the Lions.
