Bengals Offensive Lineman Not Practicing Due To Illness

The Cincinnati Bengals are dealing with an onslaught of injuries in the past few weeks, with Ja'Marr Chase and Chidobe Awuzie ruled out for extended periods of time, and now cornerback Mike Hilton will be missing for Week 9, so the last thing this team needs is more injuries. This makes it all the worse then that offensive tackle La'el Colins has missed the past two days of practice with an illness, and with just one more day between now and their clash with the Carolina Panthers, this could be a devastating loss for Cincinnati.

After being a very solid starter for the Cowboys for the past five seasons, Collins signed a big deal with the Bengals this past off-season, and after a poor start to the season, he has bounced back nicely in recent weeks, becoming the dominant starter that the Bengals expected when they signed him.

It's unclear just what the illness is, but it's been severe enough to keep Collins out of practice these past two days, and if he can't go for an offence that struggled mightily in Week 8 against the Browns, then Carolina aren't a pushover team that will allow you to simply beat them, so this entire team will have to be at their best if Collins is added to the lengthy list of players missing in Week 9 for the Bengals.
