Broncos Tackle Leaves With Knee Injury

The Denver Broncos find themselves in a tight, hard-fought game with the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, and they'll have to get by without one of their veterans on the offensive line. Right tackle Billy Turner exited with a knee injury and was quickly declared out. Today was Turner's third start of the season. He joined the Broncos this offseason on a one-year, $2.5 million deal after 43 starts in three seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

The Broncos had a strong first half against the Titans, taking a 10-0 nothing lead late in the second quarter. But the Titans managed to score a touchdown just before halftime and held the Broncos scoreless in the third quarter. The Broncos now find themselves down 14-10 entering the fourth.

Turner's injury is another deflating setback in what has been a disappointing season for the Broncos. The team ranked 30th in scoring through the first nine weeks of the season, and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy exited early in today's game with what appears to be a serious injury. An extended absence for Turner could be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
