Cardinals Place Guard On Injured Reserve
The Arizona Cardinals have struggled to string wins together this year, and for the most part, that comes due to the issues keeping their best players on the field, with James Conner, Hollywood Brown, DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and Budda Baker all missing significant time, and now, the offence is being hit hard once again with the injury bug.
Today, the team has officially placed guard Will Hernandez on Injured Reserve, meaning that at 3-6 currently, the team will be without one of it's best starting offensive lineman for the next four games, and it could be a devastating one for any playoff hopes this team could possibly have left right now.
Hernandez, a former second-round pick has started all nine games for the Cardinals this year, and will be sorely missed going forward, as Kyler Murray was still under all sorts of pressure in their loss to Seattle in Week 9, so without him, it could get very ugly up front for Arizona. The #Cardinals have placed G Will Hernandez on IR with a pec injury. The former #Giants second-round pick has started all nine games for Arizona this season.
