Chargers Running Back Limited At Practice With Injury

The Los Angeles Chargers, despite all the pre-season hype heading into the 2022 season have yet to get rolling, with a 4-3 record heading into their clash with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, which presents a perfect chance to take out an NFC playoff team in order to make a statement and get their season back on track.

It's therefore not a very opportune time for one of their most valuable players to end up on the injury report, but unfortunately, that's where running back Austin Ekeler found himself today, as he was limited today at practice with an abdomen issue, but right now, there's no further information on whether or not he is in danger of missing the crucial Week 9 matchup.

On the year, Austin has 380 rushing yards with 3 Touchdown's, as well as 357 receiving yards and 3 Touchdown's, so it's safe to say that he's been one of the best offensive weapons thus far in 2022. With Mike Williams and Keenan Allen also dealing with injury issues, the Chargers will be hoping that Ekeler's injury isn't serious, but for a team that's yet to hit first gear, it's a situation certainly worth monitoring.
