Dolphins To Workout Linebacker This Week

He played 13 games with the Miami Dolphins last season.

Linebacker Brennan Scarlett will get a workout with the Dolphins this week.

Scarlett was released from the injured reserve by the Dolphins on Sept. 5, but he is now healthy and ready to compete again.

Scarlett played 13 games with the Dolphins in the 2021 season, recording 19 total tackles and one pass defended. There's a good chance the twenty-nine-year-old may have made the active roster had he not suffered the injury in training camp.

He'll get another chance to earn that roster spot, however, when he workouts with the team this week.

In 69 total games, Scarlett has 158 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one interception and six passes defended. The linebacker spent the first five seasons of his career with the Houston Texans.
