Falcons Place Young Receiver On Waivers

We've seen plenty of players surprisingly put on waivers in recent times, including several former first round picks, and today, the Atlanta Falcons have placed a former third round pick on waivers, who they just traded for this past off-season.

Bryan Edwards was a third round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders back in 2020, and put up over 750 yards and 4 Touchdowns in his first two seasons, before he was traded to the Falcons this past off-season, where he hasn't featured much since the team drafted Drake London in the first-round.

For a playoff team that's in need of a wide receiver, like the Baltimore Ravens, this could be a fantastic pickup, but for Edwards, a promising young receiver, it isn't a great sign that this is the second time he's been moved in just 2.5 years at the NFL level.
