Falcons Sign Veteran Linebacker

The Atlanta Falcons came up with a big win in Week 11 over the Chicago Bears, which now has them sitting just half a game behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they've now got another massive boost, as according to veteran linebacker Will Compton, he's agreed to a deal with the Falcons for the remainder of the 2022 season.

Compton, a veteran of the Commanders, Titans, Saints and Raiders has been hosting the very popular podcast 'Bussin with the Boys' alongside Titans offensive tackle Taylor Lewan for a few years now, and it led many to believe he would be retiring, but in recent weeks, he's been teasing a return to the NFL, and on Twitter on Monday night, he confirmed the news.

He was never an elite linebacker, but played a solid role for the entirety of his 9-year career thus far, racking up 323 tackles, 1 sack, 4 forced fumbles and 3 interceptions, and with the defence needing a boost since trading away Deion Jones, he will fill a hole for this team as they look to compete with the Bucs in the NFC South.
