Falcons Star Cornerback Ruled Out For Thursday Night Football

The Atlanta Falcons have been better through 9 weeks of the 2022 NFL season than anyone could have expected, and somehow, they've been doing it without one of their biggest stars on the defensive side of the ball in cornerback A.J. Terrell, who has once again been declared out by the Falcons for their divisional clash on Thursday Night Football with the Carolina Panthers.

Terrell has been out for the last two weeks, and while there's optimism that he can return after the long week, with 10 days in between Thursday and their next game, it won't be in this crucial matchup as the team look to get back to 5-5 on the season.

The Falcons are currently in a tie for first place in the NFC South with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and with a very winnable schedule coming up and the return of Cordarrelle Patterson last week, this team has a chance to build some good momentum going forward, and getting Terrell back after this week would be a major boost.
