Giants Sign Tight End

He was waived by the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.

Now, the New York Giants have signed tight end Nick Vannett to their practice squad.

Vannett was cut by the Saints over the weekend and will now have another chance with the Jets.

The veteran has mostly been a healthy scratch and reserve option for the Saints this season, but he has got into three games, catching two passes for 13 yards.

Over his eight-year career, the twenty-nine-year-old has played with the Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Pirates, Denver Broncos, the Saints and now the Giants.

Vannett is a former third-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2016 NFL Draft.
