Indianapolis Colts Fire Offensive Coordinator

The Indianapolis Colts have struggled mightily to gain any type of consistency thus far in 2022, with a 3-4-1 record that has them sitting in second place in the AFC South through 8 weeks of the season, and it's clear that something needed to change. They have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball, but the offence just hasn't been clicking at all, and while many believe that Head Coach Frank Reich is on the hot seat, one of his staff has already been let go, as offensive coordinator Marcus Brady was today relieved of his duties by Indianapolis.

With Matt Ryan at Quarterback, the team just turned the ball over way too much, and after mustering just 16 points, despite having Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr. and a very talented offensive line against the Commanders, the front office has had enough.

It's hard to see how this team gets better in the near future, as Sam Ehlinger is still a young QB trying to find himself, while Taylor doesn't look as explosive as his 2021 self, and if the Colts slide continues, it likely won't be long until Reich is next.
