Injury Update On Cowboys Running Back

He's missed the past two games.

Dallas Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said Friday he expects running back Ezekiel Elliott to play versus the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Elliott has completed back-to-back limited practices, and although he could still carry an injury designation into Sunday's game, the Cowboys are reportedly still expecting him to return this week.

In his absence, Tony Pollard has excelled in the No. 1 RB role, rushing for 100-plus yards in each of the team's last two games, so if Elliott does still have lingering effects from his injury, expect Pollard to carry the bulk of the carries on Sunday.

Elliott did say he plans to wear a brace on his right knee. In seven games this season, the twenty-seven-year-old has 443 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 109 attempts.
