Injury Update On Packers Wide Receiver

He played a brutal game this past week against the Detroit Lions.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Sammy Watkins missed practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday.

Perhaps Watkins' poor play over the past few weeks has been, as head coach Matt LaFleur put it, due to ''bumps and bruises.'' He also spent time on the injured reserve this season with a hamstring injury.
Regardless of his poor play, the Packers need all the help they can get at the WR position right now, with rookie receiver Romeo Doubs missing the next 4-6 weeks, Allen Lazard being limited this week with a shoulder injury and Christian Watson also being limited.

The twenty-nine-year-old Watkins has 10 catches for 159 yards on 17 targets this season through five games.
