Injury Update On Tampa Bay Buccaneers Safety

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled to build momentum through 12 weeks of the 2022 NFL season, and one of the reasons for that is their lack of ability to stay healthy across the board, so more news of injuries coming out of their Week 12 loss is the last thing this organization needs.

Unfortunately, they have some more bad news, as star safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is reportedly dealing with an ankle sprain following the loss, but despite all their struggles with injury, this team is still leading the NFC South at 5-6, so if this doesn't come through as worst case scenario, this team still has a solid chance to make the playoffs.

Now, Winfield has been classed as day-to-day with an ankle sprain, and if he can't go over the next few weeks, which feature several crucial games for the Buccaneers, it could make their push to the NFC South divisional crown that much harder.
