Jets Continue To Dominate Rookie Of The Week Award

The New York Jets are off to an impressive start in 2022, and while they've got good play out of their veterans, it's the young guys that have been taking charge and making big plays, and it's led to their rookies absolutely dominating the Pepsi Rookie of the Week award.

This week was no different, as Garrett Wilson took home the award after posting 6 catches for 115 yards in the devastating 22-17 loss to the division rival New England Patriots. This is the fifth consecutive week where a Jets rookie has taken home the award, with Breece Hall and Sauce Gardner accounting for the other four, and it's the second of the year for Wilson, who has 429 receiving yards and 2 Touchdown's through 8 weeks, and it's another indicator of just how bright the future is in New York.

Sure, the award is fan voted, but Gardner, Hall and Wilson have all been outstanding in 2022, and if the Jets can have another solid class in the 2023 draft along with a solid free agent period, they could be a genuine threat in the AFC in 2023.
