Las Vegas Place Wide Receiver On Injured Reserve

The Las Vegas Raiders day just went from bad to worse, as they have now not only placed star tight end Darren Waller on Injured Reserve, but less than two hours later, they've followed it up by placing No. 2 wide receiver Hunter Renfrow on Injured Reserve as well.

The Raiders believed that with a group of weapons highlighted by Waller, Renfrow, Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams, that they'd finally be able to unlock elite play out of Derek Carr and turn themselves into a playoff threat, but through 9 weeks, that combination of skill position players have posted a grand total of 43 plays together.

Ultimately, this is a season that held plenty of promise for the Raiders, but with blown leads and injuries, it's turned into a disaster, and without two of their. top weapons for the next four weeks, it's hard to see Vegas climbing back into the crowded AFC playoff picture.
