Lions Place Defensive Lineman On Injured Reserve

He's missed five games this season.

The Detroit Lions have placed defensive end Charles Harris on injured reserve.

Harris has missed five games this season due to a lingering groin injury, including the team's Thanksgiving Day loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Harris will now be forced to miss at least four more games now, and his first opportunity to return will be in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears.

In six games this season, the twenty-seven-year-old has 14 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass defended.

Harris is a former first-round pick by the Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft.
