NFL Rumors: Chiefs Interested In Young Pass Rusher

The Kansas City Chiefs made a solid move to acquire wide receiver Kadarius Toney from the Giants this past week, and according to reports, they aren't done building, as they have had their eyes on acquiring a pass rusher in recent days, and now, they've found a realistic target. While Brian Burns and Bradley Chubb are the two biggest names that could potentially be on the move before todays trade deadline, the Jaguars Josh Allen is an intriguing target, and is one that the Chiefs are pursuing.

In 3.5 years, Allen has 23.5 sacks and 1 interception, and with Jacksonville clearly not going anywhere in 2022, it would make sense for them to move on as well, so if the Chiefs are ready to give up a second or third round draft pick, this is one that works for both sides.

The Chiefs offence once again looks fantastic, but if they can add more pass rush to this solid defence, they become one of the most well-balanced teams in the entire AFC, and with a potential showdown against the Bills looming in the playoffs, they'll need every bit of pass rush that they can get, so this would be a fantastic move.
