Packers Designate Veteran Receiver To Return From IR

The Green Bay Packers picked up a massive win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10, and if they are to have any chance of pushing for an NFC Wild Card spot in 2022, they'll need to keep up the momentum, so welcoming back one of their top weapons certainly won't hurt that push.

The Packers today released former third round pick Amari Rodgers, and they likely did so as veteran Randall Cobb has today been designated to return to practice from Injured Reserve, which is a massive boost for Green Bay as they look ahead to Week 11 and a matchup with the red-hot Tennessee Titans at home. Throughout Cobb's multiple tenures in Green Bay, he's put up over 6,000 receiving yards and 46 Touchdown's, all with Aaron Rodgers at the helm, and now they have a chance to go on a major run toward the playoffs in 2022.

Unfortunately, this team still doesn't have the weapons they've had in the past, but Cobb will be a major boost, and if Aaron Jones continues to run the ball the way he did in Week 10 and Christian Watson continues to stand up, this could be a very tough, dangerous team down the stretch.
