Packers Release Wide Receiver

The Green Bay Packers are done with him.

The Packers have released wide receiver Amari Rodgers.
The Packers' decision to waive Rodgers comes after a Week 10 performance where he played just six snaps on offense and lost his second fumble of the season while returning a punt in the team's massive overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys.

With the Packers looking to get WR Randall Cobb back from the injured reserve, and with Rodgers' most recent fumble and the team's lost faith in him as the return man, they have no use for him anymore.

Rodgers was the Packers' third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In 26 career games with Green Bay, he has eight receptions for 95 yards on eight targets.
