Rams Sign Tight End

They couldn't live without him.

Two days after waiving him from the team, the Los Angeles Rams have signed tight end Kendall Blanton to the practice squad.
Blanton signed with the Rams back in September, while the team's other tight end, Brycen Hopkins, served a three-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. He was then waived earlier this week when Hopkins returned from his suspension.

Blanton will now serve as an emergency reserve option should Hopkins or Tyler Higbee be forced to miss any time.

In total, dating back to last season, Blanton has played 15 games with the Rams, catching six passes for 72 yards on nine targets. He won the Super Bowl with the team in last season.
