Ravens Tight End Expected to Return Against Panthers

The Baltimore Ravens will have their leading receiver back in the fold when they face the Carolina Panthers in Week 11. Tight end Mark Andrews is officially active today. Andrews has been unavailable since injuring his shoulder early on in the Ravens' Week 8 27-22 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thanks to the team's Week 10 bye, he only missed one game with the injury, a 27-13 Week 9 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Andrews' return should be a boon for the Ravens' fourth-ranked scoring offense over the back half of the season. The centerpiece of the Ravens' passing attack, the All-Pro leads the team with his 488 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns. He also led the Ravens last year with an amazing 1361 receiving yards.

Andrews initially joined the Ravens as their 86th overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, the same draft that landed the Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. Andrews has been Jackson's favorite target since that fateful couple of days, hauling in 305 receptions for 3954 yards over his 70 appearances for the Ravens. The two-time Pro Bowler is on pace for a third so long as he can stay healthy for the rest of the year.
