Saints Cut Running Back

It appears he won't get his chance with the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints have cut running back Jake Funk from their practice squad.
Funk signed on with the Saints on Oct. 12, just one day after being cut by the Los Angeles Rams. He was originally brought in when Alvin Kamara was dealing with a rib injury in the first weeks of the season but, now that Kamara is seemingly healthy, the Saints have no use for Funk.

In 15 total NFL games, all with the Rams, Funk has five rushing yards on two attempts. In four kickoff returns, he has 88 yards.

The twenty-four-year-old will now look for an opportunity elsewhere.
