Seahawks Defensive End Out For Season

He has not played since Week 4.

Now, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that defensive end Darryl Johnson underwent foot surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

Johnson has been on the injured reserve since suffering a stress fracture in his ankle in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.

Although the exact nature and specifics are still not clear, Johnson will now be forced to turn his focus toward recovering and being ready for the 2023 season.

In four games this season, the twenty-five-year-old has four total tackles.

With the news, veteran Bruce Irvin will continue to see a large role behind Darrell Taylor for the rest of the season.
