Steelers Place Newly Acquired Cornerback On Injured Reserve

They acquired him at the trade deadline.

Now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are placing cornerback William Jackson on the injured reserve.
After missing the last three games he could have played in with a lingering back injury, Jackson will now be forced to miss the next four games as well.

The thirty-year-old cornerback has appeared in just four games this season, with the Washington Commanders, recording 16 total tackles (15 solo) and two passes defended. The Steelers acquired him for a late-round draft selection.

James Pierre will again be forced into a larger role this week.
