Steelers Safety To Be Activated From Injured Reserve This Week

He broke his whole forearm in the preseason.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Damontae Kazee said that he expects to be activated from the injured reserve list before Thursday, ahead of a Week 10 game versus the New Orleans Saints.
Kazee said he broke his forearm during the preseason and had nine screws and a plate put in to repair it, but it now appears he could return to play his first snaps of the regular season Sunday.

The twenty-nine-year-old appeared in 17 games last season with the Dallas Cowboys, recording 52 total tackles (35 solo), two forced fumbles, two interceptions and four passes defended.

Kazee will likely play a depth role behind Minkah Fitzpatrick and Terrell Edmund when he returns.
