Steelers Sign Kicker

Not a great sign for Chris Boswell.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed kicker Matthew Wright off of the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad.
Wright made his NFL debut with the Steelers in 2020, but he's since had stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Chiefs. He appeared in two games with the Chiefs this season.

Over 19 career NFL games, Wright has converted 28 of 32 field goal attempts and 28 of 30 extra point tries.

The Steelers signing Wright is a very likely indicator that their starting kicker, Chris Boswell, will not be good as he continues to deal with a groin injury.
