Steelers Star Safety Expected To Miss Week 10

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced some fantastic news today, as star linebacker T.J. Watt was officially re-instated from Injured Reserve and was announced as active for the teams Week 10 matchup with the New Orleans Saints, but just as that news came through, they also had to officially rule out star safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for the game as well.

Fitzpatrick has missed just one game this season, and while his play has certainly slowed down as of late, he has still racked up 45 tackles, 3 Interceptions and a Touchdown on the season, and with the defence needing to bounce back if the Steelers are to have any chance of making a Wild Card run in 2022, this is a major loss. 

The Steelers season certainly hasn't gone the way anyone expected thus far, and unless the Steelers can get hot and make a run in the back half of the year, this will go down as one of the most disappointing seasons in franchise history.
