Texans Release Wide Receiver

With the addition of Amari Rodgers, they have no need for him anymore.

The Houston Texans are releasing wide receiver Tyron Johnson.
The Texans scooped Johnson off the waiver wire in October after he was cut from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Johnson appeared in two games for the Texans, catching one pass for eight yards on one target. Over his three-year career, the wide receiver has played 22 games, recording 23 catches for 422 yards and three touchdowns on 32 targets.

He's spent time with the Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Texans, and he'll now look to continue his career elsewhere.
