Texans Rookie Tight End Could See Expanded Role In Week 9

His first catch in his first career game was a touchdown.

Now, the Houston Texans rookie tight end Teagan Quitoriano could play an expanded role in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.
Quitoriano made his NFL debut in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, catching a touchdown pass while playing 18 snaps.

The 2022 fifth-round pick will likely be used as an in-line blocking tight end against the Giants' defense which blitzes more than any other team in the NFL and is ninth in the league in quarterback pressures.

Quitoriano has one catch and a touchdown on one target in one game this season.
