Texans Star Receiver Questionable For Thursday Night Football

This past week has been a whirlwind for Houston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks, as he was a full participant in practice early in the week, but was missing due to personal reasons on NFL trade deadline day, and now, after not practicing again on Wednesday for what appears to be a wrist injury, he has now officially been deemed questionable for tomorrow's Thursday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cooks was clearly frustrated with the team as the 4pm ET deadline came and went without a deal in place to move him from the 1 win Texans, and now, as they battle the undefeated Eagles in prime time, they may be down their top two receivers.

In 2022, Cooks has 354 yards and a Touchdown grab, and with $18 million guaranteed next season with the Texans, the situation could become volatile, especially after he took to Twitter to express his frustrations with the team. It's uncertain whether or not the injury is legitimate, or if the absence from practice is due to the developing situation, but either way, it will certainly be something to keep an eye on ahead of TNF tomorrow.
