Titans Make Decision On Starting QB

The Tennessee Titans come into Week 9 with red-hot momentum built up behind them, riding a five-game winning streak, but in Week 8, they had to turn to the rookie Malik Willis for the first start of his career, and with just 10 passes in the game, the Titans were able to take down the Houston Texans. That was on the back of Derrick Henry, who ran for 219 yards and added 2 Touchdowns, but up against the Kansas City Chiefs, they'll need much more than that.

The organization was optimistic that starter Ryan Tannehill could potentially return for this one, and left it up to a game-time decision, but unfortunately, the veteran has now been officially ruled out, and the team will once again turn to the rookie Willis to lead them out in prime time on the road against the Chiefs.

That's about as tough a position as a young Quarterback can find himself in, but Willis flashed plenty of potential this pre-season, and he will need every bit of that if he is to help this team to their sixth straight victory in Week 9. Injured Reserve doesn't seem like a possibility for Tannehill, but at this moment, he is out for the second straight week, and we will need to wait and see how his ankle is feeling going forward.
