Titans QB Game-Time Decision For Week 9, Limited In Friday's Practice

Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill is a game-time decision for Week 9's matchup against Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, according to head coach Mike Vrabel via Fox Sport's Ben Arthur.

Tannehill missed Week 8 with an ankle injury and could miss a second consecutive game after his limited practices all week. The Tennessee club has a Saturday morning walkthrough before they travel to Kansas City, which may be a final indicator if Tannehill will be able to start for his squad Sunday night.

Rookie quarterback Malik Willis took Tannehill's place for his first career start and victory over the Houston Texans last week, and will likely get the nod in back-to-back week's if Tannehill is officially ruled out.

Willis only completed 6 of 10 passes for 55 yards, alongside an interception for his first start, as the Titans leaned on their star running back Derrick Henry, who rushed for 219 yards in Week 8's win.

Tennessee (5-2), will be hopeful for Tannehill's return as they face a much greater team this week, the Chiefs, who head into SNF with a 5-2 record as well.
