2 Cleveland Browns Stars Miss Practice

The Cleveland Browns were without arguably their two most established stars at practice on Wednesday. Defensive end Myles Garrett and running back Nick Chubb both missed their second straight practice ahead of their Week 16 matchup with the New Orleans Saints. Garrett is dealing with an undisclosed illness, and Chubb is fighting through a foot injury. Neither has missed regular season action so far with their ailments, and there remains optimism that Garrett and Chubb will be available for Saturday's game.

A three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro, Garrett is one of the league's premier defensive players and is in the midst of perhaps his best season yet; his 13.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss in 13 games put him on pace to potentially set new career highs before the end of the season. He joined the Browns as their first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Chubb is a three-time Pro Bowler himself at running back and has led the Browns in rushing in each of the past five seasons. He has already amassed an impressive 1252 rushing yards and tied a personal best with 12 touchdowns this season.
