49ers Designate Rookie Defensive Tackle For Return From Injured Reserve

Ready for his first NFL practice.

The San Francisco 49ers have designated defensive tackle Kalia Davis to return from it's reserve/non-football injury list.

The move opens a 21-day practice window during which the 49ers will be allowed to activate him, or he'll revert to the IR for the rest of the season.

The twenty-four-year-old rookie was the 49ers' sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Once healthy, Davis will give the team some added depth at defensive tackle behind Akeem Spence and T.Y. McGill.
