49ers Elevate Two Players To Active Roster For Thursday Night Football

The San Francisco 49ers have dealt with more injuries in 2022 than most, if not all other teams in the NFL, but have somehow managed to grasp the lead in the NFC West, and ahead of a Thursday Night Football clash with the Seattle Seahawks, they've got some reinforcements on the way, which should certainly help them on both sides of the ball.

Just hours away from the clash which could decide which NFC West team heads to the playoffs and which is heading home, the 49ers have elevated both Cornerback Janoris Jenkins and wide receiver Willie Snead to the active roster, and while it's likely that neither plays a starting role, they could both have a great impact.

At 9-4 with a two game lead over Seattle, a victory here would go a long way to ensuring the 49ers head back to the playoffs as they look to finally fulfil the expectations people have had for them over the past few seasons, and while these moves won't make them Super Bowl favourites, it's a solid move to cover injuries and give them depth.
