Baltimore Ravens Quarterback's Status Unclear for Week 15

The Baltimore Ravens may have to wait another week to see their superstar quarterback on the field again. At his Monday press conference, head coach John Harbaugh was coy about Lamar Jackson's availability for the Ravens' Week 16 showdown with the Atlanta Falcons, refusing to disclose any details on Jackson's recovery from a knee injury. Jackson sustained a knee injury in the Ravens' Week 14 10-9 win over the Denver Broncos. He has missed the previous two weeks, a 16-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and a 13-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

At 9-5, the Ravens now find themselves a game behind the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North. The two teams face off in Week 18, potentially for all the marbles. The Ravens already topped the Bengals 19-17 in Week 5, so another win would provide all the necessary tiebreakers to snatch back the division. That's assuming neither team picks up any additional losses over the next two weeks.

Jackson led the Ravens to an 8-4 record over the first 12 games of the season, totalling 2242 passing yards and 764 rushing yards with 20 total touchdowns and nine turnovers. The Ravens narrowly missed the playoffs last season after a 7-5 start following a Jackson injury. They'll hope to avoid a similar disappointment this year.
