Chicago Bears Claim Cornerback Off Waivers

Snagged by the Chicago Bears.

The Bears have claimed cornerback Michael Ojemudia off waivers from the Denver Broncos.

I like the #Bears claiming CB Michael Ojemudia off waivers. He’s dealt with injuries but still only 25 years old.

2020 third-round pick I liked out of Iowa. In 11 starts as a rookie, he had 6 PBUs and 4 FF. Has a career completion percentage allowed of just 60.4%.

Ojemudia had been with the Broncos since being drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft but was waived on Tuesday. He had played just three games with the team this season before being released, recording an impressive 11 total tackles and two passes defended.

For his young career, the twenty-five-year-old has 73 total tackles, four forced fumbles and eight passes defended across 18 games.

Ojemudia is a former third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Iowa. A solid addition for the Bears.
