Buffalo Bills Designate Rookie Cornerback To Return From Injured Reserve

The Buffalo Bills have been dealing with injuries all season long, but right now, it looks like they are getting healthy in time, and on top of centre Mitch Morse clearing the NFL's concussion protocol, they've got some good injury news on their rookie cornerback too.

Christian Benford was officially cleared to return from the Injured Reserve on Thursday, and with the secondary being ravaged all year long, he was a major bright spot until the oblique injury, and will be relied upon heavily heading into the playoffs for Buffalo.

His contributions may not show up and shine on the stat sheet, but as a rookie, he's been a solid performer for the Bills, and if he can be at his best in the playoffs along with the rest of this talented squad, they'll be a team that's incredibly hard to slow down en route to a Super Bowl.
